NCWorks Career Center-Randolph holds Rapid Response Sessions and Job Fair for MAS US Holdings (formerly known as Acme McCrary)
MAS US holdings TAA petition 95549 was approved by USDOL on March 6th, 2020. The DOLETA website has not yet been updated.
This petition will affect approximately 94 workers. Stephanie Pitts, Center Manager along with Lisa Martinez Assistant Center Manager and the NCWorks team have been proactive during the process of the shutdown, prior to TAA approval. The NCWorks-Randolph team has attended multiple employee and employer meetings and met with affected workers during all shifts at the plant. NCWorks-Randolph organized a job fair on a Saturday prior to shut down. In addition, NCWorks-Randolph hosted workshops on resume writing and interview skills prior to the job fair.
The team in Randolph County is more than ready to serve these trade affected workers.
